Focal Blur in Computer Vision

Introduction

Most computer vision methods either ignore focal blur completely, or use it explicitely (for example as a depth cue).

For research purposed, we provide ground truth data for stereo and depth-from-defocus, with various amounts of focal blur, generated with a high-quality ray-tracer (POV-Ray).
