POV-Ray 3.6 and MegaPOV PNG 1.5 patch

The PNG patch was taken from the pkgsrc patch for povray 3.6.1, and adapted to MegaPOV. Note that POV-Ray 3.7 has not problem compiling against PNG 1.5

To apply it:

  1. Download either the POV-Ray (mirror) or the MegaPOV (mirror) source distribution.
  2. Download the patch: povray-3.6.1-png15.patch/code> (for POV-Ray 3.6) or megapov-png15.patch (for MegaPOV 1.2.1).
  3. Unpack the source distribution: tar zxvf megapov-1.2.1.tgz
  5. Apply the patch: cd megapov-1.2.1; patch -p1 -d. < ../megapov-1.2.1-png15.patch
  6. Configure and compile POV-Ray or MegaPOV (please follow the original install instruction)
